Hundreds of people turned out for an Easter egg hunt held April 7 at Strawberry Acres Park in Holland.
Hosted by the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition in cooperation with the Wolf Creek YMCA, Holland branch library and Texas Roadhouse, the hunt drew many more people than the last one held in 2019, said Andrea Smith, coalition director.
Open to preschool to fifth grade students and their parents, the event featured free food and indoor family activities. Outside the lodge, more than 200 eggs were scattered about the park, above, for youngsters to eagerly pick up.
Ms. Smith expressed appreciation to all the volunteers and attendees for a “wonderful evening.”
