The Glass City bird crew, in partnership with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, stationed at Ottawa National Wildlife Refuge, and the Toledo Zoo, is seeking birdwindow collision monitoring and collection volunteers.
Participants will walk predetermined routes in the downtown Toledo area to monitor and collect dead and injured birds and record data. Injured birds may need to be transported for rehabilitation.
Volunteer opportunities are available seven days a week, April 1 through May 31.
