The Toledo Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol is investigating a single-vehicle, rollover injury crash that occurred Tuesday at noon in Springfield Township, at the Dorr Street and I-475 southbound exit ramp. According to the highway patrol, a semi-truck, operated by Leo Preston, was traveling west on Dorr Street, when his truck overturned in the roadway. The commercial load spilled an oil substance on the road, which was closed for an extended period of time for cleanup.
The highway patrol was assisted at the scene by the Lucas County sheriff’s office, Ohio Department of Transportation, Springfield Fire Department and the EPA.
The crash remains under investigation.
