Historical Society to reopen Thurs. July 10

The Holland-Springfield Historical Society, which closed its doors last fall, will reopen to the public at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 10.

Area residents are invited to visit the museum, view the items on display and share their memories of growing up in the community. Refreshments will be served.

Located at 7154 Front Street, Holland, the museum will be open on the first, second, third and–when it occurs–fifth Thursday of each month through November. Hours are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For those unable to visit on Thursdays, the museum will be open on the third Saturday of each month, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., through November.

The last event of the season, a Christmas open house, will take place on Saturday, December 6, with a time yet to be determined. Following the open house, the museum will close for the winter.
