During the Blue Devils' Wicked Wheels Car Fest earlier this month, members of the Holland Springfield Chamber of Commerce hosted a table, offering fun activities and raising more than $90 in support of Springfield Local Schools.
After learning which items were most needed, Lee Ann Dubois, above, used the funds to purchase school supplies for the district’s elementary school students.
“Just having the chamber at the car fest was a great show of support for our students,” said Superintendent Matt Geha. “That Lee Ann also offered to donate supplies was an unexpected bonus, and we are so grateful.”
