I am pleased to share this calendar for our last week of school:
Tuesday, May 24: Fifth grade recognition, 10 to 11:30 a.m., at high school auditorium.
Tuesday, May 24: Kindergarten recognition, 2 to 3:10 p.m.
Tuesday, May 24: Last day of school for kindergarten through fifth grade students.
The weather has made such a difference as we approach our last days of the 2021-22 school year. Teachers are taking advantage of the sunshine and students are finding that “outside” really is a classroom without walls. Before the end of the school year, allow me to remind you of the following important topics:
Fifth Grade Recognition
The fifth grade recognition will take place on Tuesday, May 24, from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at the high school auditorium. Formal invitations will be sent out to families, but you can mark it down now. We are allowing each student to invite four guests for the event. Information was sent out by classroom teachers.
The kindergarten recognition will take place on the last day of school, Tuesday, May 24. It will begin at 2 p.m., in the middle school gym, outside the Holland cafeteria. Each class will sing a couple songs for their guests. Afterwards, students and families will be invited to the cafeteria for some cookies and juice boxes. Each student will be permitted to bring four guests. Guests can park in the lot behind the football stadium and enter through the sixth grade doors. We will have guests sign in for this event.
