Holland’s annual leaf collection is conducted by street on designated days. The route for both fall and spring collections is below. Although crews may not finish collection of a street on the designated day, do not place additional leaves to the street if your residence has already been collected. Crews will not return to pick up additional leaves. Fall leaf collections will end the first Monday in December.
Monday: all streets south of the railroad tracks, including Nightingale.
Tuesday: Clarion, Clark, Front and Angola.
Wednesday: Dunn, Cornwall and Springfield.
Thursday: Kipling, Second, McCord, Georgianna, Erie, Columbus, Washington and Almaine.
Friday: all streets in the Whisperwood subdivision.
Do not place leaves within six feet of mailboxes, telephone poles, street signs, etc. Do not place leaves over catch basins or curb inlets. Do not place rocks, sticks or other non-leaf items in piles, or the pile will get left behind.
Hopper Information
•Building materials are accepted in limited quantities, as determined by the maintenance supervisor.
•No roofing materials, tires, batteries, vehicle bodies or engines.
•No leaves, grass clippings or other plant material.
•No containers that are not empty and the lids removed.
•No rocks, bricks, concrete or asphalt.
•No paint, chemicals, explosives, ammunition or toxic materials.
•Refrigerators, freezers and air conditioners must be tagged by a professional service provider that the freon has been removed.
•No refuse bags of solid waste.
•No dead animals.
•Proof of residency will be required.
•Limit of one pickup load per residence.
