The Ohio State University marching band will stop in Rossford for a special concert on its way to the Ohio State versus Michigan football game. The show will be Friday, November 24, at 7 p.m. at Rossford High School. The event is hosted by the Ohio State Alumni Club of Wood County and Rossford Schools. The 228-member all-brass and percussion marching band is known as the “Pride of the Buckeyes” and will perform music from their 2023 halftime shows along with traditional Buckeye favorites.
Tickets for the concert are $25 for adults, $15 for students and available at rebrand.ly /osubandrossford. Seating is general admission and tickets are limited.
Two band members performing are Lucas County natives— Dominic Barnes of Holland and Hanna Eggenschwiler of Sylvania.
This concert only happens every four years. All proceeds support the Ohio State Alumni Club of Wood County endowed scholarships for Wood County students and the OSU marching band. In the past 44 years, this event has raised more than $300,000 providing more than 150 scholarships to area students.
