President/Head of School Bill Berry reports that current assistant principal, Malinda Siers, has been named the new principal of Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Academy. In 2023, Malinda joined the Cardinal family as a math instructional coach and was promoted to assistant principal in 2024. She will begin her principal leadership August 1, 2025.
“I am proud to lead Cardinal Stritch Catholic High School and Academy and remain committed to supporting the academic, spiritual and personal growth of every Stritch student,” Siers said.
Siers, a native of northwest Ohio, has worked in the education field since 1995. She earned a bachelor of education in secondary math education from the University of Toledo in 1995 and a master of educational leadership from Lourdes University in 2019.
Beginning her career in Catholic elementary education, she taught technology, mathematics and science. Siers later became a member of the faculty and staff at St. Ursula Academy, where she served in various roles over her 22-year tenure, including mathematics teacher, mathematics department chair, director of the junior academy program and director of faculty and curriculum development.
“I am confident that Malinda’s leadership experience will maintain and build on the momentum of academic, athletic and community initiatives Stritch continues to make as a leader in Catholic education,” Berry said.
