Maumee City Schools, 716 Askin Street, invites the community to shop thousands of new and like-new books that were donated to the school district by the estate of Jim Lowry, a retired Maumee High School teacher and online bookstore owner.
Sale date will be Saturday, December 11, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Hardcover books are $2 each, paperbacks and children’s books are $1. The sale will be cash only.
On Saturday, December 11, starting at noon, all hardcover books will be sold for $1 and paperbacks and children’s books will be sold 10 for $1.
All proceeds from the sale will be donated to Maumee’s Panther Pride Foundation. Promedica will match funds raised up to $1,000.
