McAlear launches ‘Holiday Drop’

    The McAlear Group, a manufacturer based in Maumee, recently held its annual holiday initiative, Operation Holiday Drop.

    The program invites the company’s employees and customers to express gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices made by men and women in uniform. The initiative involves the purchase of holiday gift boxes, which are sent to active military members stationed around the world.

    Matt McAlear, CEO of McAlear Group, matched every gift box purchased, doubling the number of packages heading to military bases.

    Many employees also contributed their time and effort to write thank-you notes and package the gift boxes.

    More than 1,000 boxes were packed to ship overseas.
