Mercy Health’s mobile mammography van will be at Halim Clinic/Spring Valley OBGYN and Midwives, 6855 Spring Valley Drive, Holland, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday, August 24 .
The mobile mammography unit will perform 3D mammograms on women 40 and older. Equipped with the newest technology, it offers patients the option of selfcompression, meaning they will have the ability to control the compression once they are in position.
Screenings may be covered by insurance. Patients should verify whether Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital is an in-network provider with their insurance carrier.
