The Ohio Turnpike and Infrastructure Commission is holding its third annual Name-a-Snowplow contest which began Monday, October 16.
The contest rules are:
•The name submission period runs from October 16 to November 15.
•Commission officials will select 30 names for a public vote. The voting runs from November 20 to December.

•The eight snowplow names receiving the most votes will be announced as the winners on December 11.
Each winner will receive a $100 gift card, courtesy of the Ohio Turnpike and the names will be assigned to eight snowplow trucks in service at the maintenance buildings along the 241mile Ohio Turnpike in the cities of Pioneer, Swanton, Elmore, Castalia, Amherst, Richfield, Windham, and Canfield.
