Due to issues with the supply chain and delivery of newsprint, the Holland-Springfield Journal will be smaller over the next few weeks.
Welch Publishing is waiting on delivery of newsprint–ordered some time ago–and used to publish the Journal. As a result of dwindling supply, the newspaper will be published in a condensed format, utilizing newsprint our printing plant has in stock for other projects.
It is the publishers’ hope that the shipment will be delivered prior to the start of 2022. The change in size will not affect advertising.
The staff expresses its appreciation to loyal readers and advertisers during this time.
