Whether it is a major snowstorm or icy conditions that require all hands on deck, Ohio Turnpike maintenance crews work hard at keeping the roadway safe 24 hours a day year round.
This year, turnpike officials decided to have fun and add some levity to the important and serious job snowplow crews perform to keep motorists safe.
“We’re asking customers to name one snowplow in each of our eight Ohio Turnpike maintenance sections,” said Adam Greenslade, director of government affairs.
If selected, the winners will receive $100 gift cards and each name will be assigned to one of the snowplows used for the 2021-22 winter season.
