Ohio is offering COVID-19 relief grants for businesses throughout the state.
On June 25, State Senator Teresa Fedor announced the creation of four new relief programs for businesses.
“The COVID-19 pandemic devastated countless small businesses across our state, many of whom are still struggling to recover,” Ms. Fedor said.
“The service and hospitality industries have been hit particularly hard, and I am pleased to see our state offering them much-needed support. I encourage any eligible business to take advantage of these grant opportunities.”
The Food and Beverage Establishment Grant will provide relief to Ohio businesses with $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000 grants depending on the loss of revenue in 2020. Ohio restaurants, bars, coffee shops and other businesses are eligible to apply.
The Entertainment Venue and Lodging grants offers $10,000, $20,000 and $30,000 to eligible entertainment venues and lodging establishments.
A New Small Business Relief Grant will give necessary relief to new small businesses established in Ohio on or after January 1, 2020. The grant applies to those companies that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, and will feature grants of $10,000 to assist in ensuring the survival and stability of newly-established small businesses.
Applications for all four programs opened June 29. For more information on eligibility and how to apply, visit businesshelp.ohio.gov.
