The Lucas Soil and Water Conservation District is holding a Fall 2021 Pond Clinic at 6:30 p.m., Monday, September 27, at the Oregon Recreation Soccer Fields Pavilion, 5401 Starr Avenue Extension, Oregon.
This event is for current and future pond owners or developers to learn about best management practices for creating/maintaining habitat, fish stocking, weed control, and other aspects of maintenance to increase the overall quality and in turn, enjoyment of the pond.
This year’s guest speaker is Tory Gabriel, the fisheries outreach coordinator and extension program leader for the Ohio Sea Grant College Program. He will bring his knowledge of Lake Erie’s fish to ponds.
