The American Red Cross Northern Ohio Region has an urgent need for volunteers in several critical roles.
The organization will host a recruitment event on Wednesday, October 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The in-person program will be held at the Red Cross office at 1111 Research Drive, Toledo. A virtual option is available through Microsoft Teams.
Participants will learn about volunteer opportunities and hear from current volunteers about their experiences.
Opportunities may include blood donor ambassador, blood transportation specialist, diaster action team and disaster health services team volunteers, recovery care caseworker and shelter service associate.
