The Springfield Area Prevention Coalition, in conjunction with Springfield Township, will hold a holiday event from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, December 8 at Community Homecoming Park, 7807 Angola Road.
The free, family-friendly celebration will feature a real reindeer, light display, Christmas train rides, music, appearances by princesses and superheroes, crafts, hot chocolate and coffee.
Train rides will take visitors around the park, and there will be craft activities for the family.
Springfield Area Prevention Coalition is working toward building a safer and healthier community through education and prevention of substance abuse efforts and mental health support.
