Scrap4Art is hosting a Tick Tock Make a Clock competition as part of a spring online auction fund-raiser.
Participants are challenged to create a clock using repurposed materials. A $5 registration fee serves as store credit to purchase materials from Scrap4Art.
To participate, register by Monday, March 11, at scrap4arttoledo.org.
Completed clocks are to be dropped off between Wednesday, April 3, and Monday, April 8, at Waterford Bank, 231 Louisiana Avenue, Perrysburg, during banking hours.
Clocks will be publicly displayed at the bank, and the online auction will take place between April 11 and 21.
Winners will be able to pick up their clocks from April 22 to 24.
The clockmaker with the highest ending auction bid will receive a $100 prize from Waterford Bank.
Scrap4Art is a non-profit materials exchange. They collect donations of materials that crafters, artists and teachers can use, selling them at a low cost.
