On October 26, the Lucas County sheriff’s office released stats from its 26th annual Domestic Violence Round-up which was conducted October 25.
The department arrested 42 individuals in this year’s round-up. They also recovered one illegally possessed firearm from a 19-year-old.
Warrants cleared during the round-up were: 21–assault; 12–aggravated menacing/ menacing; nine–theft; five–nuisance abatement; three each–violation of a protection order, possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle under the influence; two each parole volations, obstructing official business, and criminal damaging, and one apiece–felonious assault, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, burglary, endangering children, receiving stolen property, resisting arrest and failure to comply.
In addition to the sheriff’s department participating agencies were: Wood County sheriff’s office, Toledo, Oregon, Sylvania, Sylvania Township, Maumee and Washington Township police departments, U.S Marshals Service, Ohio Adult Parole Authority, Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
