The Springfield High School varsity girls soccer team will suit up in the fight against cancer.
They have teamed up with the American Cancer Society to host the Red Card Cancer Game.
The game against the Maumee Panthers will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, August 31 at Springfield High School Stadium.
Proceeds will benefit the ACS in its efforts “to create a world with less cancer and more birthdays,” said Steve Mortemore, head coach.
