Springfield Local School District’s facility dog is about to receive his diploma. On Friday, October 13, Dudley joins seven classmates for a special graduation ceremony. They are:
•Service–Mamba with Jodi Hall and Summit with Yosafa Deutsch •Skilled companion– Dolly with Jaxon Deitrick and Monroe with Brody Cogar
•School facility dogs–Dana with Otsego Elementary School, Hugo with Toledo Public Schools and Knox with Archbold Middle School The Ability Center will host a special ceremony to mark their graduation and the power of teamwork. Attendees will witness the passing of the leash and have the opportunity to connect with the newest Assistance Dogs program family members.
Held at the Toledo Museum of Art Glass Pavilion, 2445 Monroe Street, Toledo, the event begins at 5:30 p.m., with a cocktail hour. Dinner follows at 6:15 p.m. with the presentation starting at 7 p.m.
