At the April 2 meeting, the Springfield Township trustees officially appointed Brenna Koback as the fiscal officer for the unexpired term ending March 21, 2028.
Mrs. Koback replaces trustee Rachel Geiger who was elected by voters last November. Mrs. Geiger subsequently was appointed trustee, replacing Bob Bethel, who resigned to accept a position as administrator for the Village of Holland.
A Springfield High School graduate, the new fiscal officer has an associate of applied science degree as a licensed physical therapist assistant. Currently, she is the director of home health operations for EncompassCare.
