Steam Threshers 60th reunion to be July 18 at corner of Lime City and Five Point roads

The Five Point Steam Threshers 60th reunion will take place Sunday, July 18.

To be held this year near the corner of Five Point and Lime City roads, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the show is free and open to the public.

The first Threshing Gathering was held August 1, 1959, at the Gust Wolf Farm on Five Point Road.

With the exception of a couple of years, the show has been held every year as a way to preserve the history of early agriculture in Perrysburg Township.

There will be steam engines, tractors, gas engines and other machinery on display, with wheat binding and wheat threshing demonstrations.

The Power of Yesteryear Club will host a kiddie tractor pull at 1 p.m., with registration starting at noon.
