Sylvania Senior Center programs, events scheduled for August 4-8

The Sylvania Senior Center, 7140 West Sylvania Avenue, offers meals and a variety of programs and activities for area seniors.

Center hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Area Office on Aging of Northwestern Ohio, Inc., in conjunction with the TRIO Community Meals, offers dine-in meals Monday through Friday, 11:45 a.m. to

12:30 p.m. Call or visit the website to make reservations or reserve lunch while at the center.

A current menu is available in the lobby and on the website.

Reserves should be made by noon the day before.

Smart Driving Class

An AARP Smart Driver class is set for Friday, August

15, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., in the art studio room.

To register and pay by August 14, visit the front office. Cost is $20 for AARP members or $25 for non-members.
