The Toledo Humane Society’s volunteer-based group, THS Crafters, will host its second annual craft show at the Maumee United Methodist Church Life Center, Saturday, November 12, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Along with the THS Crafters group, there will be more than 40 vendors from the local community offering handmade gifts for the holiday season.
Food will be available for purchase, drawing tickets that visitors can purchase to enter to win a prize basket, a donation drive for items needed by THS, and shoppers can visit with adoptable dogs.
Dogs adoptions will need to be finalized at the THS, 827 Illinois Avenue, Maumee. Shelter hours are noon to 5 p.m., and guests can visit with additional adoptable animals. All donated items and proceeds from food purchases, drawing entries and purchases made at the THS Crafters booth will go directly to the society to help continue to save lives. Items currently needed by THS include: canned dog food (pate or chunks), canned cat food (pate, shreds, or chunks), treats, cat toys, bones, hard chew toys, Kong toys, six-foot leashes, and litter.
The donation drive will be set up near the entry of the show. Maumee United Methodist Church Life Center is at 405 Sackett Street, Maumee.
