The Toledo Humane Society is holding its annual Home for the Holidays foster program. THS is currently seeking foster homes to take in an animal or two starting December 23, and give them the love and attention they deserve.
The humane society provides the foster family with all of the supplies they will need while fostering.
Home for the Holidays provides a temporary home for animals currently in the society’s care, and the program offers a great opportunity for THS to get to know the animal in a home environment, providing valuable information for that furrever family, once they return.
Dogs, cats and pocket pets are available. To foster a pet, visit toledohumane .org for an application, which is due by 5 p.m., Monday, December 18.
Completed applications should be emailed to Fos ter@ToledoHumane.org.
Pickup times will be scheduled throughout the day on December 23, with return appointments ranging from January 3 to 5, or January 8 to 12, depending on the animal being fostered.
