Pansy is a large, brown and white, 2-year-old, mixed breed.
She was transferred to the Toledo Humane Society from Detroit Animal Care and Control in May. Since then, Pansy has watched many new faces come and go, while patiently waiting for that perfect family. She is extremely affectionate and has a lot of energy. She will need a family who loves to play and cuddle. She could use work on her leash manners, and sometimes will try to play tug with your clothes when overexcited. Pansy is a smart girl, who learns quickly and always aims to please. She can be selective with other large dogs, so she must meet any potential canine companions before going home. She is not friendly towards small dogs or cats/small animals. This sweet girl has such a big personality, you wouldn’t even need another animal.
Toledo Humane Society is open from noon-6 p.m., weekdays, and noon-5 p.m., weekends.
