Lloyd!
Lloyd is a large, 5-year-old male, coonhound, treeing walker.
He was transferred to THS from another shelter and is now looking for his furrever home. This handsome guy seems to enjoy attention, petting and sniffing around outside. He also is a big fan of snacks. Lloyd knows a few commands like sit, lay down and shake. He is very smart and treat motivated. He jumps up some and doesn’t seem to know his size.
Lloyd is selective with his canine friends, and likes a slow introduction to new playmates. He would do best in a home as an only pet.
Because Lloyd has been at THS a long time, adopters will have the option of fostering him for one week through our foster to adopt program, to give him a break from shelter life and determine if he is a good fit for your home prior to finalizing his adoption.
Toledo Humane Society’s temporary hours are currently Monday-Friday, 2-6 p.m., and noon-5 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.
