Metroparks Toledo continues to make plans for growth and community engagement. Market Hall at Glass City Metropark is just one of the many ongoing projects. Within Market Hall is the anticipated restaurant, The Garden—a fast, casual dining spot set to open in June. Poco Piatti will operate the eatery, offering new twists on Mediterranean food.
At the February 22 meeting, Metroparks Toledo board members unanimously approved the following resolutions:
•Ratified contracts for electrical supply services and schedule of payments.
•Authorized the use of Ohio Public Work Commission’s Clean Ohio conservation program funds.
•Reached an agreement for the implementation of Cityworks Asset Management and Maintenance system.
•Agreed to request funding from the Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
•Accepted the application of Jake Coolman, who will provide services for the Canal Experience at Providence Metropark in 2023.
•Approved supplements and amendments made to the 2022 estimated resources and appropriate measures funds.
