The Springfield Local Schools’ Early Childhood Center (ECC) is now enrolling students for the 2021-22 school year. The ECC follows Ohio Early Learning and Development Standards and DIG Early Childhood curriculum to provide high quality instruction to children ages 3 through 5 years old residing within district boundaries.
Play based learning centers in the preschool classrooms create opportunities for exploration across the domains of development and academic areas. Small and large group learning experiences encourage students to develop their fine motor, gross motor, communication, self-help, social/emotional and cognitive skills as they prepare for kindergarten. Family involvement is encouraged.
