OhioMeansJobs Lucas County is hosting a Pop-Up Virtual Career Fair on Thursday, September 9, from 10 a.m. to noon. To participate, job seekers must register online at: pvapi.premiervirtual.com/s/ndApn8.
Area employers are struggling to recruit qualified applicants for positions. Given that COVID-19 and its variants are still active in the community, a virtual hiring event is the best option to recruit job seekers.
The following companies plan to participate: Adler Pelzer Group; Lucas County Sheriff’s Department; Ternion Schools, Training and Education Centers; Renaissance Hotel, Downtown Toledo; TARTA; Ohio Pickling and Processing, LLC; Welch Packaging; Great Lakes Windows.
The job fair had previously been scheduled for August 19 but was postponed.
