At the September 8 study session, the Springfield Board of Education accepted donations of wellness equipment for use on the playgrounds of all four elementary schools–Crissey, Dorr, Holland and Holloway.
The supplies, which included basketballs, footballs, and other sporting goods, were presented to the district by Andrea Smith, above, of the Springfield Area Prevention Coalition.
