ODOT Weekly Construction Update

The Ohio Department of Transportation has released the following updates on road construction in the area.

I-75–between Buck Road and Monroe Street, Toledo/Rossford/Northwood, will be two lanes in each direction for major reconstruction. Lane restrictions and overnight ramp closures are possible. The project will be complete in fall 2023.

I-75–between I-280 and the Michigan state line, Toledo, will experience lane restrictions and ramp closures for resurfacing. The estimated completion is October.

I-75–ramp from northbound State Route 25/Anthony Wayne Trail to Collingwood Boulevard is closed for reconstruction through September. The detour will be the AW Trail to Washington Street to Dorr Street to Collingwood Boulevard. The ramp from northbound I-75 to Downtown/Anthony Wayne Trail/Route 25 (Exit 201B) also is closed for reconstruction through May 2022. Motorists will be detoured northbound I-75 to Erie Street to Washington Street.

U.S. Route 23–in Michigan is now open. Emergency repair work on a railroad bridge was completed ahead of schedule.

I-475–between Angola Road and Bancroft Street, Toledo/Springfield Township, may experience lane restrictions for finish work. Local streets may experience traffic impacts. The project is estimated for completion in November.

I-475/U.S. Route 23–between Central Avenue and Monroe Street, Toledo/Sylvania, will experience lane and shoulder restrictions for construction of a noise wall. The project will be complete in September. The ramp from westbound I-475 to northbound U.S. Route 23 will experience lane and shoulder restrictions as will the northbound I-475/Route 23 ramp to eastbound I-475.

I-475–near the U.S. Route 23 interchange and at Central Avenue, will experience overnight lane restrictions and ramp closures for microsurfacing through October.

U.S. Route 20–at McCord Road, Sylvania, will experience shoulder restrictions for signal foundation and sidewalk work. Restrictions for the signal installation will be announced. The project will be completed in November.

Other–ODOT is working on various routes districtwide, and the traveling public will encounter lane restrictions for routine guardrail, lighting and pavement markings and maintenance throughout the year. All work is weather permitting.
