The shops at Levis Commons in Perrysburg have begun setting up for the holiday season.
“We love the holidays at Levis Commons. Transitioning from fall decor to the holiday season is my favorite time of year. It’s the magic and community excitement that makes the holidays here so special” said Levis Commons marketing director Christine Best.
“This year, we’re bringing back some family favorites and introducing some new elements to our holiday decor line-up. We can’t wait for the shoppers to experience this year’s decorations,” she said.
Fountain Plaza will be the home of the Santa House beginning Wednesday, November 3.
Children and pets will be able to take photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus for free.
A 50-foot tree also is being fluffed and preened.
“It takes a crew of patient and skilled workers all day to assemble the towering tree and check connections to ensure a successful Levis Commons tree lighting on November 20,” said Ms. Best.
“The rest of the holiday decor then gets set in place, including the return of the adopt-a-tree live spruce tree exhibit, where area businesses and non-profit groups adopt a live spruce tree, decorate it in the village theme, and guests/visitors enjoy the walkable display November 20 through January 2. Then, the live trees get donated to area green spaces and public parks.”
