Polls will be open in Lucas County from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2, for Election Day.

Issues
Holland-Springfield area voters will see the following issues on the ballot.
Issue 1–Lucas County 911 0.7-mill, five-year renewal property tax levy for the county’s 911 emergency public safety and dispatching system.
Issue 2–Imagination Station 0.1975-mill, five-year replacement property tax levy for operation and maintenance of the science center in downtown Toledo.
Issue 3–Toledo Zoo 0.65-mill, five-year replacement property tax levy for zoo operations and maintenance.
Issue 8–Springfield Township 1.8-mill, five-year replacement property tax levy for township fire and EMS services equipment and personnel.
Issue 12–TARTA 0.5 percent sales tax for all of Lucas County and Rossford for 10 years, repealing the two TARTA property tax levies, and adding Lucas County as a member of TARTA.
Candidates
Springfield Township Trustee–with two seats open, incumbents Bob Bethel of Kellerston Road, Maumee, and Tom Anderson Jr. of Geiser Road, Holland, are campaigning for another four years.
Also running for trustee is write in candidate Georgia Rogers of Derbyshire Road, Toledo.
Springfield Board of Education–with four seats open, incumbents Rachel Geiger of Empire Court, Ev Harris of Albon Road and Sherri Koback of Albon Road are seeking reelection to four-year terms and do not face any opposition.
No candidate filed for the unexpired term ending December 2023.
The school board will appoint a new member to fill the vacancy.
Holland Village Council–with four seats open, incumbents Mike Bettinger of Clark Street and Ryan Spangler of Whisperwood Parkway are seeking to return to council along with newcomer Nathan Gaubert of Whisperlake Road.
Council will appoint a new member to fill the vacancy.
Incumbent councilman Scott Brown of Weatherstone Road is running for the unexpired term that ends December 2023.
