The Toledo-Lucas County League of Women Voters will meet at 2 p.m., Thursday, November 4, at Sanger Branch Library, 3030 Central Avenue, Toledo.
The Topical Thursday speaker will be Nancy Gurney who will discuss “Advocacy Training, Let Your Opinion Be Heard.”
A league member for four years, Ms. Gurney, is a retired medical technologist and lab director.
In the league, she has been active in voter services, naturalization, Topical Thursday and fair districts. She is a member of American Promise, Common Cause and several other advocacy groups.
