Happy Holland Days at Strawberry Acres Park was capped off with a visit by Santa and Mrs. Claus on December 4. Children and their families lined up, maintaining a respectable distance while waiting to visit the life-long residents of the North Pole. While some youngsters were happy to see Santa, above and bottom right, others were not sure, bottom left and middle. But Mr. and Mrs. Claus took it all in stride, offering candy canes, cookies and milk to families after the visit. “The cookies and milk are to remind everyone what my favorite Christmas Eve treat is,” the jolly old elf said. He also reminded children to keep being well-behaved as he checks his nice/naughty list twice each day.
