We are excited to announce that on Thursday, December 9, Crissey Elementary was awarded the Bronze Award by the State of Ohio for our Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports programming (or PBIS).
PBIS is a national researchbased program which focuses on preventative behavior management on a schoolwide and classroom level. This is our second year in a row receiving this award. We are very proud to be part of this program and honored to be recognized by our state for our accomplishments.
We also would like to thank our Crissey Elementary PBIS team members: Mr. Amick, Mrs. Brock, Mrs. Poignon, Mrs. Purdue, Mrs. Rechtine, Mrs. Reynolds and Mr. Schneider, for all of their hard work and dedication.
On behalf of the entire Crissey Elementary School staff, I would like to wish everyone a happy and safe holiday season. This time of year is a good time to reflect on all we are thankful for. We appreciate the students and families, and the opportunities we have each and every day here at Crissey Elementary School. May you have a wonderful winter break and a happy new year.
