On December 4, Springfield High School’s JROTC Boosters hosted Breakfast with Santa at the high school cafeteria feeding 495 hungry guests.
The JROTC cadets, above, along with Parent Boosters sponsor the annual event, which featured a pancake and sausage breakfast, visits with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus and a craft table.
There also were several celebrity servers on hand this year including school board member Rick Helminski, Superintendent Matt Geha, SHS Principal Robb Brown, athletic director Andrew Screptock and Springfield Township Fire Chief Barry Cousino. A lot of elves worked behind the scenes to make the event run smoothly.
The JROTC breakfast has been a tradition in the Holland/Springfield community for more than 25 years.
