My family and I were very happy to read the Holland-Springfield Journal article about the planned improvements to Brookwood Metropark.
We live in Ragan Woods which is the neighborhood next to the park.
During the warm weather months, our neighborhood is usually busy with families and couples riding bikes, walking children in strollers or walking their dogs. Having the park open on a daily basis and access to more of the beautiful grounds there will be a real treat.
We usually walk to the park every evening to watch for deer and turkeys and look forward to adding the park trails to our miles.
The Toledo Metroparks system is a gem and Brookwood will be a special addition.
