Weekly Updates
This week’s message will be short–many families have commented that they are experiencing an almost information “overload” as we work hard to keep all informed of operational changes and good news throughout the district.
We hope by now that many have noticed the new look for our website. The district launched this new look on January 18. The address remains the same (spring field-schools.org). However, we hope the site is easier to navigate via computer and personal handheld devices. The content also remains much the same, but accomplishes a number of accessibility goals for the district. If you’ve not yet done so, be sure to check it out soon and make yourself familiar with the new tabs and page orientation.
While you are familiar with the Instant Alert messaging program that we use to communicate delays, closings and other information, I would like to encourage those who have yet to do so to signup for our weekly district updates that are emailed each Wednesday by our community liaison. If you are not receiving instant alerts, please ensure that the district has the most current contact information on file for your children. You can check this at Power-School or by contacting the secretary at your student’s school.
This communication tool also allows us to provide a few more details on job opportunities, parent/booster events and activities and more.
