Blue Devil radio enters fifth year on air

Springfield High School’s Blue Devil radio station–97.7 FM, WNLB–has benefitted the greater-Holland and Springfield Township community since it went on the air five years ago. The experiences provided to communications students are unique and not found in many other schools in the region.

Sponsorship from McLaren St. Luke’s Hospital has enabled the station to regularly feature interviews with doctors who share information on a variety of medical topics. In January, Dr. Liz Barga visited the station to discuss diabetes–risk factors, symptoms and treatments.

Viewers can tune in to the station on their car radio, online or by downloading a free app. The station plays the greatest hits of the golden age of rock and roll, commercialfree and along with valuable information, fun updates, artist profiles and more.
