The Springfield High School JROTC recently competed in the 2022 Howell High School Drill meet. The Emerald Guard performed well with Armed Platoon IDR and Armed Exhibition earning first place. They are led by commanders c/CPT Shelby Salatin and c/LTC Cody Lowe respectively. Color guard under the leadership of c/CPT Grant Dery took second place, and overall the squad earned third place.
