Penta students qualify for BPA state leadership conference

Several Springfield High School students are among 60 Penta Career Center students who have qualified for the Business Professionals of America state leadership conference after earning top awards at the regional contest held January 19 at the University of Toledo.

The students, their programs and contest area are Alexandria Bell, medical office management, ICD-10-CM medical diagnostic coding; Miles Burrell, information technologies academy, computer animation team; Corey Channel, digital video production, broadcast news production team 1; Lauryn Myrick, digital video production, broadcast news production team 1, and Emerson Von-Ahrens, information technologies academy, network design team 2.

Students will next compete in the 2022 BPA State Leadership Conference March 10 and 11 in Columbus.

Business Professionals of America is a career-technical student organization for students pursuing careers in business management, information technology, finance, office administration, health administration and other related career fields.
