On February 26, the Springfield High School JROTC Emerald Guard Drill Team competed against four other schools at a meet sponsored by the University of Toledo ROTC. The team won overall once again, continuing a streak that began five years ago.
They earned first place in the following: Color Guard–commanded by Grant Dery; Exhibition Squad–commanded by Cody Lowe; IDR Squad–commanded by Shelby Salatin; IDR PLT–commanded by Aiden Warner; Overall Honor Company; Unarmed Knockout–Logan Cuadill; Armed Knockout Shelby Salatin, and Exhibition Solo–Cody Lowe, who has won four years in a row.
