The Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) has approved assistance for six projects statewide, including one for a local enterprise.
With assistance from the TCA, Brennan-Eberly Team Sports Inc. of Holland, expects to create 86 full-time positions generating $4.1 million in new annual payroll and retaining $4.7 million in existing payroll as a result of the company’s expansion project. The company, located in Swanton Township, provides branded athletic apparel, equipment and uniforms. The TCA approved a 1.358 percent, seven-year job creation tax credit for their project.
During its monthly meeting, the TCA reviewed economic development proposals brought to the board by JobsOhio and its regional partners. Collectively, the projects are expected to create 1,937 new jobs, retain 2,597 jobs, resulting in more than $104 million in new payroll and spur more than $117 million in investments across the state.
