Four students from the Penta Career Center culinary arts program earned top awards at a regional Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) culinary competition held February 26 at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland.
In the culinary team contest, Katelyn Hawker of Perrysburg Schools and Matthew Cassaubon of Rossford Schools earned gold awards.
In the baking contest, Christian Dennis of Springfield Schools earned a gold award and Celina Mora of PHS took silver. From left are Matthew Cassaubon, Katelyn Hawker, Christian Dennis and Celina Mora.
