The Gathering of Quilters will meet on Thursday, October 20 with Gary Harvey, a local award-winning quilter, known for his ruler work when longarm quilting.
Mr. Harvey will speak about “Y Seams- Making Them Easy!” and explain ruler work, molds, templates, bobbin work, and other quilting techniques. He also is a commissioner for the Glass City Quilt Commission. The meeting will be held at Holland Free Methodist Church, 6605 Angola Road, Holland. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. The club meets on the third Thursday of each month September through May, excluding December.
